Founded in 1970 by Roy Backholm, Leeds was first called North Eastern Blue Bird. Renamed Leeds Transit Sales Ltd in 1978, over the next 20 years the dealership grew to become one of North America’s largest school bus dealers. Affiliated with International Truck and Engine Co. (Navistar Corp.) since 1972 and in 2003 Leeds is proud to have been chosen as the very first International IC dealer in Canada!
